If you do not agree with any aspect of this Policy, please refrain from engaging our services.

1. Nature of Our Professional SEO Services

Rankgoup provides specialized, results-driven SEO services that are inherently long-term and strategic. Our work involves complex processes such as in-depth keyword research, technical website audits, content optimization, strategic link building, and continuous performance monitoring. These activities require significant upfront investment of time, expertise, and resources.

SEO is not an instant solution; it is a continuous process that builds momentum over time. The results, such as improved rankings and organic traffic, typically manifest gradually and are influenced by numerous external factors, including search engine algorithm updates, competitor activities, and market dynamics. Therefore, our refund policy is structured to reflect this long-term investment and the non-instantaneous nature of SEO outcomes.

2. Monthly Retainer Services: Payment and Non-Refundability

For services provided on a monthly retainer basis, all payments are due in advance at the beginning of each service month, as stipulated in your service agreement. These monthly fees cover the ongoing strategic planning, execution of SEO tasks, reporting, and dedicated support for that specific month.

Once a monthly retainer payment has been processed and the work for that month has commenced, it becomes non-refundable. This is due to the immediate allocation of resources, expert time, and operational costs associated with initiating and continuing your SEO campaign. Our team begins working on your project from day one of the service period, making the services rendered for that month non-recoverable.

3. Project-Based Services: Advance Payments and Non-Refundability

For specific project-based services (e.g., one-time technical audit, website migration SEO, penalty recovery), an advance payment or a percentage of the total project fee may be required before work commences, as detailed in your project proposal. This advance payment secures our resources and initiates the specialized work required for the project.

Similar to monthly retainers, once an advance payment for a project-based service has been made and work has begun, it is generally non-refundable. The initial phases of project-based work often involve significant research, analysis, and strategic planning, which constitute substantial value delivered. Any exceptions to this non-refundability will be explicitly outlined in your specific project contract.

4. Clearly Defined Eligible Refund Scenarios

While our services are generally non-refundable due to the nature of SEO work, Rankgoup recognizes specific, limited scenarios where a refund may be considered. These eligible scenarios are:

(a) Non-Commencement of Service: If Rankgoup fails to commence the agreed-upon services within a reasonable timeframe (e.g., 15 business days) from the agreed start date, and this failure is solely attributable to Rankgoup, a full refund of any advance payments made for the uncommenced service may be issued.

(b) Material Breach by Rankgoup: If Rankgoup commits a material breach of the service agreement that is not remedied within 30 days of written notice from the Client, and this breach fundamentally prevents the delivery of the core services, a pro-rata refund for the unrendered portion of the service may be considered.

(c) Mutual Agreement: In rare instances, a refund may be issued if both Rankgoup and the Client mutually agree in writing to terminate the services and process a refund, with terms to be determined on a case-by-case basis.

5. Explicitly Non-Refundable Items and Services

The following items and services are explicitly non-refundable under any circumstances, reflecting the costs incurred and value delivered:

(a) Services Already Rendered: Payments for any SEO services, tasks, or consultations that have already been performed or initiated, regardless of the outcome or perceived success.

(b) Third-Party Costs: Any expenses incurred by Rankgoup on behalf of the Client for third-party services, tools, software, advertising spend, or content creation (e.g., stock images, premium plugins) are non-refundable.

(c) Setup Fees: Any one-time setup fees, onboarding fees, or initial audit fees are non-refundable once the setup or audit work has been completed.

(d) Algorithm Changes: No refunds will be issued due to changes in search engine algorithms that may impact rankings or traffic, as these are external factors beyond Rankgoup's control.

(e) Client-Caused Delays/Issues: No refunds for delays or underperformance caused by the Client's failure to provide timely access, content, approvals, or due to technical issues on the Client's website/server.

6. Detailed Refund Request and Processing Procedure

To initiate a refund request for an eligible scenario (as per Section 4), the Client must follow this detailed procedure:

(a) Written Notification: The Client must submit a formal refund request in writing to support@Rankgoup.online, clearly stating the reason for the request, the specific services for which a refund is sought, and any supporting documentation.

(b) Review and Investigation: Upon receipt of the request, Rankgoup's management team will review the claim and conduct an internal investigation. This process may take up to 10 business days.

(c) Communication of Decision: Rankgoup will communicate its decision regarding the refund request in writing, providing a clear explanation for the approval or denial. If approved, the amount and estimated processing time will be specified.

(d) Required Information: If a refund is approved, the Client may be required to provide necessary bank details or other payment information to facilitate the refund transfer securely.

Failure to follow this procedure may result in delays or denial of the refund request.

7. Refund Processing and Payment Method

If a refund request is approved by Rankgoup, the refund will be processed using the same method of payment that was used for the original transaction, wherever feasible. For example, if payment was made via bank transfer, the refund will be issued via bank transfer to the same account.

Refunds are typically processed within 15-30 business days from the date of approval. Please note that the actual time for the refunded amount to reflect in your account may vary depending on your bank's processing times. Rankgoup will provide confirmation of the refund initiation, but cannot control the exact date the funds appear in your account.

8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes

Clients are strongly encouraged to follow Rankgoup's formal refund request procedure (Section 6) before initiating any chargeback or payment dispute with their bank or payment provider. Initiating a chargeback without prior communication and adherence to our refund policy may lead to:

(a) Immediate Suspension of Services: All ongoing SEO services will be immediately suspended without notice.

(b) Account Closure: Your client account with Rankgoup may be permanently closed.

(c) Legal Action: Rankgoup reserves the right to dispute any unwarranted chargebacks and pursue legal action to recover any outstanding amounts, administrative fees, and legal costs incurred.

We believe in resolving issues amicably and efficiently through our established channels, and chargebacks should only be considered as a last resort after exhausting all communication with Rankgoup.

9. Service Cancellation vs. Refund Eligibility

It is crucial to distinguish between service cancellation and refund eligibility. Cancelling your services with Rankgoup (as per the termination clauses in our Terms of Service) means that future services will cease after the notice period. However, cancellation does not automatically entitle you to a refund for services already paid for or rendered.

Refund eligibility is strictly determined by the conditions outlined in Section 4 of this Refund Policy. For example, if you cancel a monthly retainer service mid-month, you will not be refunded for the remaining days of that month, as resources for the full month would have already been allocated and work commenced.

10. No Guarantees of Specific SEO Outcomes

As detailed in our Terms of Service, Rankgoup does not and cannot guarantee specific search engine rankings, traffic volumes, or sales conversions. The SEO landscape is constantly evolving, and results are influenced by factors beyond our direct control. Our commitment is to apply best practices and diligent effort.

Therefore, dissatisfaction with SEO outcomes (e.g., not achieving a specific ranking, lower-than-expected traffic) does not constitute an eligible reason for a refund. Our fees are for the professional services rendered, the expertise applied, and the resources deployed, not for guaranteed results which are inherently unpredictable in the SEO industry.

11. Client Responsibilities and Impact on Refunds

The Client's adherence to their responsibilities, as outlined in our Terms of Service, significantly impacts the effectiveness of our SEO campaigns. Failure to fulfill these responsibilities may affect refund eligibility:

(a) Delays: Delays in providing necessary access, content, or approvals that hinder our ability to perform services will not be grounds for a refund.

(b) Non-Cooperation: Lack of cooperation or communication from the Client that impedes project progress will not make services eligible for a refund.

(c) Unauthorized Changes: If the Client or another third party makes changes to the website or its SEO without Rankgoup's knowledge or approval, leading to negative impacts, no refund will be issued.

(d) Website Issues: Technical issues with the Client's website, hosting, or server that prevent our SEO work from being effective are not grounds for a refund, as these are outside our scope of responsibility.

12. Modifications to this Refund Policy

Rankgoup reserves the unilateral right to update, amend, or modify this Comprehensive Refund Policy at any time, at our sole discretion, to reflect changes in our service offerings, operational procedures, or legal requirements. Any revisions will be effective immediately upon posting the updated Policy on Rankgoup.online, and the "Last Updated & Effective Date" at the top of this document will be revised accordingly.

For active clients, significant changes will also be communicated via email or through our client portal. 13. Severability Clause for Refund Policy

This agreement supersedes and replaces any prior or contemporaneous understandings, communications, and agreements, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter hereof.
